The main ride begins from your tea estate to Mon, the village that the Konyak Tribe calls home. Upon arrival, face the proud warriors who were among the last Naga tribes to desert headhunting. Later, have an exclusive meeting with the Angh, the former warrior king who still rules the village. After your meeting, you will head over to the main hall where an ancient monolith of different animal skulls exists. In the evening, gather around the bonfire and explore the tribal history of Konyaks through stories, songs, and folk dances.

The third day begins with a ride to Longwa, one of the most iconic villages of Northeast India. Here, the international border runs directly through the Angh’s kitchen. So, it’s fair to say he sleeps in India and enjoys luxurious cross-border meals in Myanmar. You'll also see more Konyak elders with their elongated ears pierced with horns, distinctive tattoos passed down through generations, and traditional ornaments, each with a history of its own. Later, enjoy a warm dinner with the locals as you prepare for a cozy homestay.

Day 4 - Mokokchung

The Home of Ao people

Say farewell to the Konyaks as you move towards the state’s third-largest urban hub and the cultural center of the Ao Naga tribe, Mokokchung. Along the way, stop at Tuli Valley for a leisurely picnic by the Milak River and dense forests. After arriving at your destination, walk around the streets tasting traditional Naga delicacies before settling in for the day.

Day 5 - Mokokchung

The Living Museum of Ao Nagas

After your breakfast, head over to Ungma village, or Soyim, as the locals call it. It is the oldest known home of the rare Ao Naga tribe. Here you can see intricate structures made out of bamboo, community houses showcasing their old ways, and massive log drums carved from a single tree trunk. In the afternoon, drive to Longkhum, the resting place for the spirits of the Ao People before they depart for Paradise. Here you will explore the Longlangba stone bridge, the Chumia Swin waterfall, and the secret behind why people call it the Vegetable Capital of Nagaland.

Day 6 - Wokha

After lunch, wander around the town and see if something catches your eye before rushing to the hillside for a gorgeous sunset.
