The Living Museum of Ao Nagas
After your breakfast, head over to Ungma village, or Soyim, as the locals call it. It is the oldest known home of the rare Ao Naga tribe. Here you can see intricate structures made out of bamboo, community houses showcasing their old ways, and massive log drums carved from a single tree trunk. In the afternoon, drive to Longkhum, the resting place for the spirits of the Ao People before they depart for Paradise. Here you will explore the Longlangba stone bridge, the Chumia Swin waterfall, and the secret behind why people call it the Vegetable Capital of Nagaland.
