Day by Day

Day 1 - Mangaluru

The Coastal City of Mangalapuram

After arriving in Mangaluru, our team will drive you to your hotel. Along the way, you will get a glimpse of the New Mangalore Port that handles up to 75% of all coffee and cashew exports in India. Once checked into your hotel, visit the Kadri Shree Manjunatha Temple, an ancient shrine known for its bluish-colored entrance and bronze craftsmanship representing various idols, including Gautama Buddha. And right before evening, head over to the coastlines of Panambur Beach and enjoy a leisurely walk across its sandy beach as the sun slowly fades away in the distance.

Day 2 - Mangaluru

Beach Walk and The Chapel

Today, you will explore the remaining attractions of Mangaluru, starting with the St. Aloysius Chapel. Here you can see intricate frescoes and canvas paintings all over the interior walls. Next up are the fishing harbors and markets, which are the pride and joy of this place. Seafoods from the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghats are grounded here before being transported to various hotels, including yours. And lastly, Tannirbhavi Beach, the second most popular beach, and the place where you will take your second sunset walk before heading back for a warm dinner.

Day 3 - Udupi

After your final breakfast in Mangaluru, head over to the temple city of Udupi. You can see the coastline of the Arabian Sea getting closer and closer as you make a pit stop at the Blue Flag Padubedri Beach for some R&R. Swimming, boating, or beach walking, this place can offer it all. Once you are in the city, check into your hotel before visiting the Sri Krishna Temple. This is a popular pilgrimage site and is the center of a form of literacy called Daasa Saahitya. After eating Prasadam, or Anna Brahma, head over to the lighthouse at Kaup Beach for some more horizon views.

Day 4 - Udupi

The Coconut Island

Get your sunscreen ready, because today you will visit St. Mary's Island via a small boat from Malpe Beach. This island is known for its year-long sunny climate and distinctive geological formation of columnar rhyolitic lava. You can freely explore the coconut island as you please. There is no hotel or village here, only benches and the azure sea all around. After the island tour is over, get back to the mainland and visit the Delta Point of Bengre Beach. The sea covers three out of four sides, making it a perfect place for some great shots.

Day 5 - Gokarna

After following a familiar coastline, you will reach the temple city of Gokarna. It has both cultural and ecological importance that you will discover later on. Upon arrival, head over to the 4th century Mahabaleshwar Temple. It is one of the seven Muktistala, or “Places of Salvation” in Karnataka and is made in the classical Dravidian architectural style. Later visit the Om Beach which naturally forms the Hindu sacred symbol “ॐ” (Aum). You can stay here till evening and enjoy the afterglow before heading back to the hotel.

Day 6 - Gokarna

Today you will go on a trekking route and explore all six beaches of this place, which includes some naturally carved caves at Om and Half Moon Beach. You can also take part in various activities like swimming, jet skiing, parasailing and so on. Just spend the day enjoying the water, and when the sun finally starts setting down, get ready for a sunset yoga session by the sea.
