Goa is popularly known as the coastal city of India. It presents beautiful beaches, culture, and a unique combination of Indian and Portuguese influence, all of which can leave unforgettable memories for passionate travelers from different corners of the world.

1: Baga Beach

Baga Beach is alive with sound. By day, you can enjoy water sports, at night, the beach parties come alive. There are many vendors on the beach, selling fish and drinks. A very nice place in general for fun and relaxing.

2: Fort Aguada

Though built by the Portuguese way back in 1612, this fort sits high above the sea on a hill and overlooks beautiful views of the water. You can walk along the coast to the fort and the lighthouse. The place is historical and is at its best for photo-ops.

3: Dudhsagar Waterfalls

This is a tall white waterfall located in between Goa and Karnataka. Surrounded by a large forest, naturalists and adventure travelers love venturing out and exploring this lush oasis. It can be reached by foot or by jeep. The waterfall is stunning, especially during a monsoon.

4: Basilica of Bom Jesus

This is an important ancient church located in Old Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With beautiful Baroque architecture it houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, one of the more prominent saints. Visitors are invited to observe and stroll this peaceful and historically rich site.

  • Visit the old churches in Old Goa and learn their history.

  • Go to the Saturday Night Market at Arpora, shop, eat, and explore.

  • Roam around Panaji, the capital city, with colorful houses and a lively old town.

  • Watch the sunset at Palolem Beach, a beautiful and tranquil place.​

  • Try local seafood such as fish curry, lobster, and tandoori fish.

  • Stroll around the lovely Latin Quarter Fontainhas. Take in the painted houses, unique oyster shell windows, and the atmospheric Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception.
